Hello,
I love all those Triumphs in Sweden, that would be a nice club run!!!

I am planning to go to the TR REG national at Harrogate, we hope to camp over, I will 'fly the flag' for TR7's. Pop over and say hello if anyone is going, mine is the java green one, (not hard to spot).

I love Harrogate, very nice buildings, green spaces with flower beds, pretty waitresses, oh, and great PUBS too!! They love their traditional 'real ale' in Yorkshire!
see you there! Cheers fixed-head (Stuart)

Hi,

Had a rethink, no point going to a Triumph car show without a Triumph so going to take a run up the M1 lane early Sunday morning, got to work Saturday [:(], planning to drive up in the FHC [8D]

Hope to bump into a few of you ladies and gents on Sunday

Cheers John

I am planning to go to the TR Register three day event at Harrogate. So much to do and more TRs than you can shake an oily stick at.
From the hill climb on Friday to the Autotest and Russ Swift display on the Saturday to the most entertaining ring action on the Sunday featuring loads of TR7/8/Grinnals plus evening entertainment to suit all tastes including Country and Western (Hmmm?), mega disco (Yep!) and the late Fred Dibnah’s wife entertaining all at a formal dinner, it’s a fantastic event for all TR tastes.
Personally I have found this to be a most wedge friendly event with rare never seen before wedgies turning up all the time. Indeed the TR Register IWE has featured such TR7 luminaries as many of the works drivers, Harris Mann on many occasions and also Mark Grinnall and Del Lines to entertain the crowds.
Not one to miss folks.

Regards
Steve

I hope the weather is good so that this event is a great success. I think Malvern is a super venue but am very pleased that we have such a big show in Yorkshire. As it is local to us we will be there for the whole weekend, bringing ACG 97 with us.

Hi,

Went up to Harrogate yesterday, 420+ mile round trip in a day, took the FHC and what a pleasure to drive [:D]

As normal a huge event, but IMHO TR7 / 8 were some of rarest cars there. In the offical 7 & 8 display area there were 6 cars [:0]. There were a more dotted over the site, which is huge, but sure out of all the TR's there we were out numbered.

Joined 'our' Mr Turner with other members of the TRDC, great cars with great company [:D] Will post some pictures this evening but loved John's real Sprint,if it was enterd into the 'pride of ownership' competition then sure would have won a cup, got to get one of those on the driveway [:0] All in all a great event and well worth the drive up and i still have fuel left in the FHC tank [:D]

Hello John 215,
Yes I do like that java green fhc (top of page 2) and that blue one on TRDC stand at Harrogate. We had a great time at TR Reg IWE, we were invited to take part in the cavalcade which was great fun. Saw loads of Triumph friends there from TSSC, TR Reg. and TRDC. What a great weekend!! But very sad at the little numbers of TR7's there, I do hope there are plenty in restoration at the moment just waiting to re-appear!!
Cheers fixed-head (Stuart)
