This weekend saw the TRIUMPH CLUB DE FRANCE arrive in the Sunny south for a tour of Goodwood, Beaulieu and the isle of wight,
On Sunday the Wessex register group met up with them for a run through the New Forest and a bit of tea & Scones at the national motor museum.
22 French Triumphs mostly Tr's, but some Stags, spttfires, heralds etc and 10 of our own TR's sadly only my TR7, but that didn't surprise me,took to the roads
looking at their club members i note their membership is made up of the following ( taken from their magazine presented to me)
22% - TR2 & 3
19% - Tr4
16% - TR6
12% - Spitfires
8% - TR5
5% - Heralds/vitesse
5% - Stags
3% - GT6
only 2% - our beloved TR7's
8% others i guess
A good day out enjoyed by all only comment of the day on the 7 was how nice it sounded [:D]
