Hi Everyone, just to let you the Spread Eagle in Margaretting has been having a rough time of late. Paul and I turned up there last month and found it closed down - the landlord having alledgedly "done a runner". The week after that it burnt down.
So the August meeting on Wednesday 26th will be at "The Farmhouse Inn", Monk Street, Near Thaxted, Essex. CM6 2NR.
The pub is located just off the B184 between Dunmow and Thaxted.
Someone should be at the pub from about 8.15 ish.
No me though as I can't make it this month.
We already have a venue planned for next month but I won't confuse the issue by posting it just now so I'll keep you all in suspense!
