The Wolfrace wheels have special wheel nuts with a long shank to centre the wheel on the hub.
They also have special slightly conical shaped rings/inserts to aid the wheel's centring. See also link below ...

Not worth the money, just buy good quality bearings.
And make sure they are fitted correctly and check on a regular basis.

When I bought my first TR7 in 1988 I was refused membership of the TR Club Holland because it wasn't a real Triumph TR :shock:

... I cant get the steering wheel off ... Never needed a puller! Loosen nut but leave it on the shaft . Give the rim a few blows with your hand (spread around the rim) Than try to wriggle the wheel of the shaft (the nut is there to prevent the wheel from smashing your face) You might need some pene...

First check the headlamp moves freely up and down using the turning knob underneath the lifting motor. Disconnect the battery before you do this, as otherwise the motor might kick in as it is not in one of the parking positions. And carefully inspect all wires and connectors (including earth points)...

Only problem I have ever head with the original steering rack is that it needs a lot of steering input (lots of 'wheel turning). Especially on the many really sharp bends/corners in this part of the world. That problem was solved many moons ago on 't Kreng. I fitted a quick rack to that car with abo...
