Re: 16" MG TF Alloys

Hi All I have fitted the 16" wheels with 10 mm spacers, they look great, still get a slight rub now and again and trying to find the elusive problem. Hi JJ What springs have you got on your car I have 200 lb uprated springs on mine, would standard springs give a bit more room? Due to health prob...

Re: Enamel Bonnet Badge

Sounds pretty good to me Brian, ABS plastic is extremely strong and there will be very little or no fading.
How does the price compare with the metal/plastic ones?

TR7 Fuel Cap Options

I have put one on my V8, did it a couple of years ago no problems with it and it looks really good.
I purchased mine from Rally Designs.

Re: Classics monthly

Hi Brian
No, it's not an age thing :D the so called articles are on page 115 and 116 on the right hand side of the page, I must admit it took me about three attemps to find them.
Once I had read it I thought well that was a waste of time and effort to find it!!!!!!

Re: Installing KYB inserts in front struts

When I fitted my KYB front struts I tightened the nuts with a pair of stilsons as well, and then punched the dimple in to lock the nuts, about a year later when the car went for it's mot there was movement on the drivers side when we checked the nut had come loose, so this time I used Loctite threadl...

Re: Rear end clunk

Check the trailing arm bushes, if they are still the original rubber bushes then they are probably well worn, invest in some poly bushes, it certainly made a difference to my car.

Thanks all for the replies,JJ, if you used a thinner spacer would that stop the wheel rubbing on the wiheel arch? Phil, 14" tyre range is becoming more limited and also the 16" wheels will improve the looks of the old beast :D Beans, thanks for the info and advice about the offset, I am no...
