Re: TRDC National Weekend 1-3 July 2016

I was hoping to have made it this year, but as has been mentioned, the weather was the deciding factor for me. Standing in a windy wet field isn't my idea of a good time, even if I would have been surrounded by TR7s at the time! I was only available on the Saturday, as Sunday I had prior commitments...

Re: Bullet Run Pictures ( may become pic heavy )

I thought they were ALL yours?

My apologies, I stand corrected. No offence meant to anyone, it just seemed to me that most of the ones I was looking at had been revamped.

Cheers,
Dean

Re: Bullet Run Pictures ( may become pic heavy )

Chatting to my neighbour this morning, it turns out that he was snapping away like mad with his phone at the Air Museum last Sunday, and there are a few photos which prove that my car WAS there after all... Re: Bullet Run Pictures ( may become pic heavy )

Thanks John,

It's RBC 239 W, red DHC. I was sandwiched between the Herald and the Dolomite, but was only at the air museum.

Cheers,

Re: Bullet Run Pictures ( may become pic heavy )

Finally! Some evidence that I was actually there: http://i224.photobucket.com/albums/dd288/deanflyer/SAM_4112_zps4jlihfcg.jpg I arrived in convoy with my neighbour in his Herald, and although there is a photo of his car in the above sequence, there isn't a clear shot of my red DHC next to it. I didn...

Re: THE BULLET RUN - 17th - 19th June 2016

Typical of my luck...I drove down to the Air Museum in the TR7 yesterday, parked directly in front of the Vulcan to take a photo so I could post it on here and say "too late"...and my phone wouldn't take a picture! Storage was full apparently, and it was only later that I worked out how to...

Seconded... mine arrived before I'd actually paid for it! Looks great, and will be fitted this afternoon.

Thanks,

Re: classic cars could be banned from the roads

All I'd say is look at the date...it's from September 2012, and the proposal was soon the subject of much backtracking.

Come in a Classic and I believe we'll get you onto the in-field to park.

Maxwell

As long as TR Seren plays ball, I'll try to get her there for then...

Re: THE BULLET RUN - 17th - 19th June 2016

Dean - The Midland Air Museum part of the event is open to all - we'd like to see as many Triumphs as we can muster - and it needn't be a TR! Hellfire Pass was used to test a number of Triumph models - the TR7\8 was probably the last! Maxwell :D Then I shall do my best to get there...what time is t...

Re: THE BULLET RUN - 17th - 19th June 2016

Due to other commitments I can't make the run itself, but when I found that there was a stop at the Midland Air Museum just down the road I did wonder about the chances of nipping down there in my DHC to say hello. Would anyone mind? It'd be nice to see some other TR7s...

What's yours called?

I've been browsing a few car forums on the net recently, and a large proportion of TR7 owners seem to name their cars...I've seen TRixie, TRickett TRevor, TRouble and several other names mentioned with TR in them, as well as those without. How many people here have named their car, and what's the st...
