You have to remember that the TR7 engine is a derivative of the Triumph 3 lt V8 designed for the STAG.

You can make a little tool to simplify the removal of the water pump. If you notice water levels dropping and water trickling down from the weep hole in the side of the block, then you need to order a new pump. I believe that your "fuel pressure switch" is really the A/C kick up solenoid that activates when the A/C is switched on.

You will have to use a good quality primer first. Use a good quality sealant on all the screw connections or else the whole dash will squeak.

The power for the light comes directly from the alternator. It's the small brown/yellow wire. Get a new alternator or have your old one rebuilt with new diode.

It either has a strange twist in the sheath, the fitting at the trans is loose and moves around or the cable is under stress where it attaches to the speedo/transmission.
