Re: Triumph TR7 Rear deck soft top rails

Thanks Alan
My hood is in good shape considering the rest of the car. The only reason I am removing the hood is to get the three windows re-done as they have cracked and I can get a local company to put new plastic windows in for £100.
Cheers

Re: tips on seat removal

Hi F1 spider. It looks like thats the only way to go. I noticed on other threads on this forum that the bolts should be high tensile torque bolts. The one's I removed from the driver's seat were standard Allen head bolts and didn't have the square washer's So should I replace the bolts with high ten...

Re: tips on seat removal

Hi Adam. Went out and had a look at front bolts as you said. I got one out that was a torx head bolt. The one in at transmission tunnel is allen head bolt and it's proving to be hard to move. I am soaking it for a while, but looking at the state of the floors I think the slider mechanism is rusted t...

Tips on Triumph TR7 seat removal

Hi ALL, I am in the process of taking the seats out and have run into a problem with the passenger seat. I removed the drivers seat no problem, but when I went to move the passenger seat forward to remove the rear two bolts it would'nt budge. I have sprayed oil around seat runners , had a good look ...

WHEEL ARCH LINERS

Hi All, As the title says I have been looking for wheel arch liners for the TR7 without much luck, I had a pair fitted to the front inner wings of my MGB GT, and thought they were a good idea,I unscrewed them and cleaned and painted both the inner and back of the liner over the winter when I owned t...

Re: original colour

That would be good because by the time mine is ready to go through that I would like to think the process would be up and running well. MoJO was first registered on 02-02-1981, so as Christopher was telling me when I first gave him my cars details, it could have been build up to one year before regi...
